It was the first time new Pirate Brethren Rod & Angie dived Mucky Pirates Bay, Pemuteran.
It was the first time Rod had played with a underwater digital camera.
And it was the first time I had a camera around when I saw this rather nice Batfish.
I’d seen him (or her) around a few times during numerous dives in Mucky Pirates Bay, but never when I’d had a camera so close at hand. So I had to deprive Rod of the camera for just a minute to fire off a couple of shots for myself.
Rod also got a couple of good shots off, of which this Octopus was one of my favourites. Seems this guy has decided to make his home in front of the Sea Rovers dive centre. Handy if you guys bring your camera’s 🙂
