Captain meets & greets government inspectors
Today we aided the Indonesian government as inspectors took out our very own ‘Nasty Nemo’, skippered by Capt Sahari, to test water quality in the local area. Taking samples between Pemuteran and Gondol from a range of 5 to 15 mtrs these scientists and inspectors spent 3 hours trawling the deeps to see what they could find.
Hopefully they’ll prove what we already know from previous tests, that the water quality in this area is bloody marvelous. 🙂

Yep. These Pirates are Legal
In an attempt to crack down on the numerous illegal dive operators springing up all over Bali. The Indonesian government organised some surprise inspections.
Basically, for those who don’t read Indonesian this says that of seven dive companies in Pemuteran checked, only one divecentre located in inside Adi Assri Hotel (that would be us 🙂 had the legal paperwork to operate.
That would mean that out of the current eleven divecentres in Pemuteran, more than half are operating illegally.
Makes you think.
