Not so long ago, on an island in the Bali Sea, a motley group of pirate divers and snorkellers stumbled across a beach strewn with plastic and decided to do something about it.
One of the lesser know facts about Menjangan Island is that it is also Deer Island. And though we don’t always see them the deer swim from the mainland to graze on Menjangan Island.
A couple of new Brethren of the North Bali Coast took out our little Sony and GoPro camera for some snorkeling fun at Menjangan Island. You can see that they had some fun out there. Lots of thumbs up for the camera and reefs.
Menjangan Island continues to be one of the most popular destinations for snorkeling and diving. But don’t forget the Pemuteran Reefs and the award winning Biorock project are all within easy reach from Pemuteran.
