Sea Rovers adventures into unknown regions

We’ve been journeying afar in search of new and exciting diving for those who want to be in the frontier lands of diving, to see sights and reefs that few have so far seen, on this page be our first offerings. But be ye warned this adventure not be one for the faint hearted, novice diver or 5 star enthusiasts, this be more fur yer experienced old sea dogs and dogesses!

In the far reaches of the Indonesian spice islands, where the land be rich with tropical jungle and active volcanoes. In the briny depths that lay offshore, such treasures await.

Underwater volcano – teeming with life, Drop offs rarely dived, patrolled by reef sharks. Coral coral and more coral as far as the eye can see. Deep channels that bring the ranging pelargics through, throw in a wartime wreck which used to be a flying through the air, some good black sand to bring out a few critters – and more that is yet to be discovered!. And whilst enroute to yous diving, you may be joined by a few flying fish – just curious to see who ye be!

We will be running adventures next year (2017) The locations are different depending on the time of year. The dates have yet to be finalised, but will most likely be during the months, March,  August, and October.

Each adventure will be 14 days (7 days in 2 different locations) – with an option for extending for another week. It may also be possible to join for just one week

  • The March adventure we hope to centre on Jailolo on the west coast of Halmahera, and Tobelo on the East coast of North Halmahera.
  • The August and October  adventures will be based in Tobelo and Moratai island off the north east coast of North Halmahera.
