Winter Special–Free Try Dive

Try Dive, Pemuteran, Sea Rovers, Bali, Indonesia

Free Try Dive sign beckons Pemuteran visitors to come in to Sea Rovers

Every day, instructors Cap’n Paul and/or Wayan are standing by to share the wonders of diving with passers-by here in Pemuteran. There’s a brief orientation, some paperwork and then you can experience diving in the waters at Mucky Pirates Bay. If you’re enjoying yourself, you can immediately continue on to do an Introductory Course. This would allow you to dive to a maximum of 12 metres on any of our regular trips with an instructor or divemaster for up to 14 days. Or, if you really catch the diving bug, you can sign up for a scuba or open water diver course–which is what happened with Cornelia.

Emma from London came to Sea Rovers to dive Temple Garden, and decided to go ahead and get her Advanced Open Water certification. Today she worked with Captain Paul starting with the deep dive, and later was slated to do her Navigation and Night dives at Mucky Pirates Bay. Tomorrow she will finish up at Menjangan.

Today the Cap’n got out of the office and into the water with Wout from the Netherlands. The site he wanted to visit was Temple Garden, which is an advanced dive at 30 metres. Wout didn’t have experience with deep diving, so he took a step towards Advanced Adventurer and learned all about it from our knowledgeable and fearless leader. Both thoroughly enjoyed the dive and spotted a turtle as they headed up to their safety site–lucky buggers!

Are you a long-time snorkeler and just itching to see what all the excitement below is about? Do an introductory scuba course with Sea Rovers.

The introductory course is done here in Pemuteran and is very easy. It consists of 20 mins of basic theory, in water training done in the bay here, followed by a dive. After which, you have a temporary certificate valid for 14 days. You will be able to dive to a maximum depth of 12mtrs under the direct supervision of a divemaster or instructor, and can join any of the normal trips we offer during that 2-week period.

Scientific proof, Snorkeling can be cured

Taking “The Cure”.

Here at Sea Rovers we have a no discrimination policy. Snorkelers are people too and they are always welcome on the same boats as divers.

Its not their fault after all, they were just born that way.

But scientists have found that there is a cure for those brave enough to take it. Its called #Learntodive cure.

There are a number of methods. We at Sea Rovers have become quiet proficient at the SSI and SDI, open water diver methods.

Your first steps on the road to the cure can seem daunting, but we’re here to help you on your way. With informative online training and videos, available in multiple languages. Its easy to get started.

And remember, #diving uses a buddy system, so you will always have someone there to support you as you take the #learntodive cure.

So contact us at Sea Rovers today to find out more details. These guys did and look how happy they are 😉
